How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Owner. We were doing plumbing work for many businesses, finding they would struggle with getting furniture moved out of the way timely. Panel systems and freestanding furniture, moving employee's contents etc., began doing that for them. After managing both types of business, we found there was more need in the Office furniture panel system, furniture relocating along with design for new set up and changes. We have been completing these moves for 26 years and have added used office furniture in our efforts to help the small companies.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We complete the whole package for relocation or new installation. Most do only Office furniture moving of panels and freestanding furniture. We supply moving boxes, library carts and move them with furniture or without furniture. We set up new product for vendors and direct for companies who purchase their own furniture or have sent from other corporate locations to the offices in our area. We supply storage of products, office furniture or whatever they need to store. We have carpet squares, racking, computers, records.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have 4 locations. We do not plan to expand to other areas at this time. We complete installations all over the US for customers who send us to other locations to do layouts, check site. We send couple from our company and work with local people to complete projects. Whatever it takes for customer ease of mind and timely completion.

All of our locations can be reached off I 80. Des Moines, Cedar Rapids and Bettendorf, Iowa (Quad Cities), and Omaha, Nebraska.
What type of payments do you accept?
EFT, Visa, MC, American Express, all cards, and checks.
Which areas do you service?
Iowa, Nebraska, and some Illinois and Wisconsin with our Quad City location.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Tom and Mary Daughenbaugh, own, run daily operations. We have managers in our locations and visit with them daily. We are here every day.
What are your hours of operation?
office hours are 8-5. Our crew hours are what is needed by our customers. We do many moves on Friday night, through Sunday. We work evenings. We work when offices are open, and when closed to allow employees to work all day.
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
Your crew did a great job, polite, responsive and professional.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Several, but I like to live by this in the business world and my life. God has blessed us. Be honest, follow up, do what you say you will do and go the extra mile. Treat others as you want to be treated, be understanding and listen.
