How long have you been in business?
17 years: The agency was first formed as Vincent Insurance then incorporated as The Insurance Station, Inc. in 1997 by Michael and Connie Vincent.
What is your primary product or service?
All types of personal and commercial insurance
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We choose insurance because it is an industry built on personal relationships.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We focus on the needs of the individual. We are not necessarily interested in your past or current coverages we want to help you determine what your needs are now.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We currently have 8 locations throughout Iowa with the home office in Altoona, IA. We are looking to add 8 more during the upcoming year.
Provide detailed directions to your location
In addition to our office in Altoona we also have offices in Carroll, Spirit Lake, Sioux City, Oskaloosa, Vinton, Windsor Heights and Cedar Falls.
What type of payments do you accept?
When can accept most forms of payments and many companie will accept payment by the insured on line.
Which areas do you service?
We have office throughout Iowa and licensed in 15 states.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Current ownership is a family project. Jared, Julie and Travis Vincent are in Altoona. Michael and Connie Vincent manage the branch operations.
What are your hours of operation?
8:30 to 5 and by appointment.
